Get away from the fast-paced urban scene to a more relaxed, peaceful environment and travel with us to Lancaster, PA, where we will learn about the life and traditions of the Amish. We start at the Lancaster information center where we will see “Who are the Amish,” a multi-media program on the Amish culture. We will go on an authentic Amish buggy ride, where our Mennonite tour guide offers backcountry tours
of Lancaster County, including Amish and Mennonite homes and farms. We also enjoy a 3-D movie of a teenage boy growing up Amish and travel through years of history in 40 minutes of magic. Enjoy a real Pennsylvania Dutch smorgasbord at the Good and Plenty Restaurant (one of the top 10 home style cooking restaurant in North America) and shop at the Kitchen Kettle Village. The last day we visit a tradi- tional Amish home, school and blacksmith and enjoy a train ride through the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. This trip will have something for everyone.
