Join us on a trip to “the Big Easy” known for its elegant architecture, entertainment and rich history. We will visit the French Quarter, home to casual southern dining, entertainment, and beautiful parks. Visit Jackson Square and enjoy street performers and artists, take a St. Charles streetcar for a leisurely ride through the Garden District and have a tour of the famous St. Louis cemetery. It is the burial place of Marie Laveau, the legendary “voodoo queen.” We will also have a tour of the Bocage plantation. The Bocage Plantation is an original, historic treasure of Louisiana. The antebellum mansion, with tree-lined path, two-story columns and elegant decor, has deep historic ties to the early colonization of the Southern United States. Of course there will be plenty of music, festivals, dancing and delicious southern food on this trip.
